You have one great possibility to practice wreck diving in Thailand as the Gulf of Thailand is full of WW2 wrecks and most of them are still not located. Some of the tours organized include a short pre-dive course with theoretical preparation and a short presentation of the wreck diving site. Remember always to follow the instructions you are given. In addition some wreck diving sites and the clubs which organize the tour may require a certain certificate. So check in advance. The Suddhadib /also known as Hardeep/ – Indonesian freighter, 72m /236 feet/ long, sunk 1942 during WW2, lies in 26m /85 feet/, located near Pattaya
H.T.M.S. Khram - former US Navy ship, 60m /197 feet/ long, located near Koh Pai, Pattaya, artificial reef with many species around
H.T.M.S. Kut – sister ship of H.T.M.S. Khram, located some 350m away from Koh Sak /Pattaya/, lies in 31m /100 feet/ of water, Kut ship is thought to be the most challenging wreck dive nearby Pattaya
King Cruiser – passenger ferry, 85m /280 feet/, lies on the seabed at 31m /100 feet/ depth, located between Phuket and Phi Phi Islands
